The UW Medicine Northwest Campus has an opportunity for aNurse Manager Pre - Anesthesia Clinic.

WORK SCHEDULE
Full time day shift.

Some weekends

Some holidays

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

Function as a liaison between patients physicians and other healthcare providers

Provides leadership and coordination for the Pre Anesthesia clinic for UW Medicine Northwest and Montlake departments.

Guides and directs the activities of the Staff Nurses Assistant Managers Patient Care Technicians and support staff in the designated unit.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Facilitates monitors and improves the processes and systems that impact daily patient flow and the quality of patient care delivered in the Pre-Anesthesia Clinics for both Northwest Hospital and Montlake. Responsible for establishing and maintaining high customer service standards for the designated units. Guides and directs the activities of the RN3s RN2s PCT/CNAs and MAs.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides Human Resources support hiring staff development of performance standards

Demonstrates excellent customer service that ensures patients and family members are attended to in a professional manner.

Supports hospital mission and objectives

Monitors high standards/care practice by team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

BSN or Masters degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or related field or enrolled in a Masters program. At least two years formal supervisory leadership experience in pre anesthesia or PACU services.

BLS certification

A higher degree of healthcare.
