Title: Fulfillment 1st Shift Production Lead

Reports To: Fulfillment Operations Manager

General purpose of Job: The Warehouse Production Lead will supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role involves managing production schedules ensuring quality standards are met and maintaining a safe working environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Fulfillment production lead involved in receiving storing and shipping customer-owned products
• Ability to pull product and set-up jobs in the most efficient manner
• Provide input and support to the Fulfillment Production Manager in coordination of production

schedules to meet customer demands and optimize workflow (continuous improvement)

• Work with Fulfillment Operations Manager to achieve direct labor efficiency and meet targeted

financial results (labor to sales ratio)

• Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management processes
• Support production order flows including orders received from Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for

Amazon orders

• Ability to process orders through VeraCore Warehouse Management System (warehouse waves)
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Provide input and support to Fulfillment Production Manager in addressing and resolving any operational issues or employee concerns
• Assist with training of new employees and provide ongoing training for existing staff including

Fulfillment department SOPs

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure safety and efficiency and keep

production areas orderly

• Collaborate with other departments such as Customer Experience and Mail Entry to streamline operations.
• Maintain accurate records of production and inventory activities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and three to five years of related experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Customer Service Functions:

• Ability to interact with Clients with customer facing care and support
• Ability to understand the Clients needs and resolve questions or issues
• Monitor clients orders or jobs to provide insight on statuses

Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Performance Measurement:

Performance feedback will take place both verbally and written on a day-to-day as needed basis recognition in monthly employee recognition meetings formal training on changes in SOP as needed with a formal review by the supervisor at least annually.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED; and three to five years of related experience.

Language and Math Skills:

Ability to read and write at a high school equivalent level. Ability to add subtract multiply and divide at a high school level. Ability to communicate fluently in English with Account Managers Supervisor and co-workers. Must be able to give directions clearly in English both spoken and written.

Physical Demands:

May require standing walking and lifting for extended periods.

Standing or walking most of the day. May climb balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Regularly lift up to 25 pounds often lift up to 40 lbs & rarely up to 70 lbs. Constant use of hands and arms. Regularly reach with hands and arms including reaching above shoulder level (Lifting/reaching above shoulder level would seldom be more than 5-10 pounds). Vision requirements are close vision distance vision peripheral vision & ability to focus.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a warehouse environment which may involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

Work near moving mechanical parts fumes & air borne particles risk of electrical shock and exposure to toxic chemicals. The noise level is moderate to loud.
