Job Summary
Schedule
6:00am to 2:30pm or 7:30am to 4:00pm
Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
The Production Associate will assist with the operation of the production line(s) of individual snack food items. We are a company that deals with dehydrated fruit produce nuts and other snack foods. Due to this nut dust is in the air and a possible inhalant.
- Packaging
- Running the label machine
- Refilling labels
- Adjustments of rails
- Adjustments of head heights
- Label placement on tubs
- Label corrections
- Train new employees on GMPs sanitation duties mixing production duties and labeling
- Additional tasks as they are assigned
Qualifications :
Required Skills and Experience
- Successful completion of application process
- Must be able to pass drug and background check
- Has good personal hygiene practices
- Must have reliable form of transportation
- Must be flexible / dependable to work on days scheduled
- Ability to follow directions and quickly transition
- Basic math skills and ability to adjust and read weight scales
- Able to work in fast paced work environment
- Able to work with a small team
- Able to occasionally lift up to 50# cases
- Must be able to stand for long lengths of time
- The ability to stop production if they feel there is a safety hazard.
- Ability to safely work with and around nuts.
