A day in the life
Your day will be a blend of strategic analysis cross-functional collaboration and customer lifecycle forecast. Youll engage with product and marketing teams translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations that shape Amazon Musics future. From developing comprehensive business cases to supporting critical product launches youll be at the heart of our growth strategy.
About the team
We are a collaborative finance team committed to driving Amazon Musics success. Our approach emphasizes individual ownership balanced with collective support creating an environment where innovative thinking and mutual growth are celebrated. We work closely across different finance specialties to deliver comprehensive financial strategies.
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
- 5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- MBA or CPA
- 4 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
