About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our core Development team. You will work on a large-scale cloud platform covering web applications APIs and backend services with opportunities to expand into system-level and infrastructure-related development if that interests you.
This role suits developers who enjoy owning features end-to-end working close to the product and gradually deepening their understanding of how cloud platforms work under the hood.
What Youll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Python
- Design and implement RESTful APIs used by both internal systems and customer-facing applications
- Contribute to our microservices-oriented architecture and ongoing platform evolution
- Work with asynchronous processing and task queues
- Implement and integrate authentication authorization and SSO solutions
- Collaborate on architectural decisions and improve code quality following SOLID principles
- Participate in code reviews debugging and technical discussions
- Optionally (depending on interest): work closer to infrastructure virtualization and system-level components
What Were Looking For
Core Requirements
- 5 years professional Python development experience
- Strong Python fundamentals and clean coding practices
- Experience with web backends and REST API development
- Familiarity with microservices or distributed systems
Experience with asynchronous processing (Celery RabbitMQ Kafka Redis or similar) - Understanding of authentication & authorization concepts (OAuth JWT SSO)
- Solid Linux knowledge and comfort working in server environments
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Good communication skills in English
- Curiosity problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn beyond your comfort zone
Strong Advantages (Not Required)
- Experience with Django and Frontend development
- Exposure to system-level Python development
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (KVM QEMU libvirt)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP firewalls routing)
- Experience with containerization (Docker K8s)
- DevOps experience (CI/CD automation infrastructure tooling)
