Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- Sr. AI Prompt Engineer
In this role we are looking for Prompt Engineer to design test and optimize prompts and retrieval workflows that improve the performance accuracy and reliability of AI language models in enterprise environments. The role blends analytical thinking creativity linguistics and technical expertise to translate business needs into effective AI-driven interactions.

Responsibilities
Prompt Development & Optimization
oDesign refine and maintain high-quality prompts for diverse use cases such as chatbots knowledge assistants automation summarization and content generation.
oApply advanced prompt engineering techniques (e.g. few-shot chain-of-thought structured outputs) for improved reliability and accuracy.
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Enablement
oBuild and optimize RAG pipelines to connect LLMs with enterprise knowledge bases databases and APIs.
oEvaluate retrieval quality and fine-tune embeddings search strategies and prompt templates for scalable performance.
Evaluation & Testing
oConduct A/B testing automated evaluation and human-in-the-loop testing to ensure factual accuracy consistency and alignment with user intent.
oDevelop monitoring frameworks to detect and reduce hallucinations bias or irrelevant responses.
Collaboration & Integration
oWork closely with product managers data scientists and engineers to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.
oCollaborate with developers to integrate prompts APIs and RAG pipelines into production workflows.
oMaintain prompt libraries documentation and reusable assets for scalability across projects.
Innovation & Research
oStay updated on the latest in LLMs Azure OpenAI capabilities vector search technologies and prompt engineering research.
oPrototype new interaction patterns multi-turn dialogue strategies and structured output techniques.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science AI/ML Data Science Computational Linguistics or a related field
Relevant years of experience in AI/ML NLP or software engineering (prompt engineering strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of LLMs NLP concepts embeddings and retrieval techniques (RAG)
Proven experience in prompt design testing and optimization
Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI Service or other enterprise LLM APIs (OpenAI Anthropic Cohere etc.)
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred) for testing and automation
Ability to analyze outputs and optimize prompts to reduce bias hallucinations and irrelevance
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience building RAG pipelines using Azure Cognitive Search Pinecone Weaviate or similar vector databases
Familiarity with evaluation frameworks such as BLEU ROUGE BERTScore or custom scoring methods
Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning and system prompt strategies
Background in linguistics cognitive science human-computer interaction or UX writing
Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) and enterprise AI integration
