Position: *Welding Automation Engineer*
Location: Cochin
Salary: 12 LPA

*Role Overview*
Welding Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to join our automation projects team. The candidate will support the development validation and optimization of welding processes including Laser MIG Spot and Resistance welding with a strong focus on robotic and automated systems.

*Key Responsibilities:*
Interpret and apply Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) across multiple processes.
Conduct welding trials and optimize process parameters (wire feed laser power voltage current travel speed heat input).
Monitor and ensure weld quality compliance and safety standards.
Collaborate with design PLC/robot programmers and quality teams to refine welding solutions.
Support commissioning fine-tuning and troubleshooting of automated welding systems.
Apply seam tracking and adaptive control technologies to manage joint gap variations

*Qualifications:*
B.E./ or Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy Engineering.
2–3 years of welding experience (include laser welding exposure).
Welding certifications (preferred: CSWIP AWS or equivalent).
NDT inspector certification – ASNT Level 2 / ISO 9712 VT
