What Youll Be Doing
- Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs on industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime
- Install align and dismantle machinery and mechanical systems
- Fabricate and weld components using MIG TIG and stick welding techniques
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure equipment reliability
What Are We Looking For
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven skills in welding and metal fabrication
- Ability to interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals
- Familiarity with rigging hoisting and precision alignment of equipment
- Commitment to safety quality workmanship and continuous improvement
- Red Seal Millwright certification or equivalent trade qualification is an asset
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
