Location: Chicago IL (This is an on-site position. Candidates must work from our office location.)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary Range: $40750 - $49860 per year
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team and help create unforgettable experiences for our guests. As an essential part of our event execution team you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of our events run smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for hospitality and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and teardown of event spaces including arranging furniture decorations and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and assisting them with their needs during events.
- Manage registrations and ensure accurate guest lists are maintained for all events.
- Support event coordinators with various logistical tasks including catering coordination and overseeing vendor activities.
- Monitor event timelines and help ensure that all activities proceed as scheduled.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event staffing or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as event schedules may vary.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with others.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality service standards
