How you will make a difference:

This position is responsible for the complete grant process. This includes searching for receiving and acting on notices of federal grant opportunities submitting applications soliciting and awarding subgrants monitoring program and financial progress and reporting both to the federal government. Professional services work includes (but is not limited to) negotiating contracts processing invoices creating and monitoring contracts grants and other purchases of goods and service agreements. Accounting and technical support duties include (but are not limited to) independent processing of payments (invoices grants and purchase orders).

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Preparing grant applications developing the budget component of the grant applications monitoring the grant spend and assisting sub-recipients as needed to enable them to complete their proposals for sub-awards.
Writing new Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Writing contracts and memorandums of agreement.
Providing information and assistance to providers grantees and staff.
Prepare code and submit invoices for processing.
Verifies source documents for accuracy completeness authorization and invoice coding.
Monitors budget balances identifies issues in order to inform and support program managers and accounting partners.
Reviewing status reports from sub-recipients and filing required reports to the federal grantor agencies.
Preparing grant applications developing the budget component of the grant applications monitoring the grant spend and assisting sub-recipients as needed to enable them to complete their proposals for sub-awards.

Minimum Requirements:

A six (6) year combination of education and/or professional experience in contract or grant administration.
