How you will make a difference:
This position is responsible for the complete grant process. This includes searching for receiving and acting on notices of federal grant opportunities submitting applications soliciting and awarding subgrants monitoring program and financial progress and reporting both to the federal government. Professional services work includes (but is not limited to) negotiating contracts processing invoices creating and monitoring contracts grants and other purchases of goods and service agreements. Accounting and technical support duties include (but are not limited to) independent processing of payments (invoices grants and purchase orders).

A six (6) year combination of education and/or professional experience in contract or grant administration.

Retirement Plan The State contributes the equivalent of 13.29% of the employees pay towards the Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) for MSEA or 18.09% for Confidential employees.
