Job Summary:
Micron is seeking a motivated RDA/Metrology Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain troubleshoot and optimize metrology and real-time defect analysis tools within the fabrication this equipment-focused role you will collaborate closely with on-shift hardware and process engineering teams production operations and RAM applications to maximize tool uptime reduce cycle time and ensure quality. Responsibilities include developing clear maintenance documentation managing critical spare parts and leading high-impact projects that support Microns fabrication expansion and production ramp. Responsibilities:
Sustain and improve RDA/Metrology tool performance through hands-on troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
Lead orparticipatein shift pass-downs ensuringaccuratecommunication of tool status and priorities.
Support tool installations engineering tests and process improvement projects.
Collaborate with engineers vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve chronic tool issues and implement best-known methods (BKMs).
Maintain and improve documentation including maintenance logs and troubleshooting guides.
Promote and adhere to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) core beliefs and practices. Align with Microns standards for Environment Health Safety Security and Business Continuity.
MinimumRequirements:
Associate degree in relevant technical fields such as Mechatronics Electronics or Robotics and/or 2 years of experience inmaintainingmanufacturing equipment automation and/or technicalmilitary experience.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off) progress between day and night shifts every 4 monthsand adapt to different shifts and overtime as needed to support business operations.
2 years of experience performing preventative maintenance and repair on manufacturing equipment ensuring minimal downtime andmaintainingindustrial equipment automation.
2 years of experience in using mechanical electronic and PC/software skills to fix and resolve manufacturing equipment issues.
2years experiencemaintainingmanufacturing equipment automation and/or technical military experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Chemical Mechanical Electrical or Materials Science Engineering or a related field.
4 years experience inmaintainingmanufacturing equipment automation and/ortechnical military experience.
4 years experience in leading projects related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and improvement with a focus on meeting scope schedule and budget requirements.
