Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:

Support HSE management through compliance reviews risk assessments and safety evaluations.
Maintain HSE logs reports and required documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Assist with compliance to OSHA EPA DOT and other applicable regulations.
Participate in incident investigations and support corrective and preventive actions.
Provide HSE guidance and recommendations to facility leadership and employees.
Assist in developing delivering and tracking HSE training programs.
Promote safe work practices identify hazards and ensure immediate corrective action.
Support implementation and maintenance of HSE policies programs and procedures.
Coordinate waste handling storage documentation and disposal with approved vendors.
Maintain working relationships with regulatory agencies and internal department leaders.
Stay current on HSE legislation standards and industry best practices.
Comply with all NOV company quality and HSE policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned and work night shifts as required.
Job Duties:

Work primarily on the manufacturing floor (approximately 80%) with limited night supervision.
Exposure to forklifts drill pipe movement and heavy manufacturing equipment.
Work around forging machines welders heat treat furnaces presses pits and elevated surfaces.
Exposure to loud noise and varying temperatures based on facility and weather conditions.
Perform office-based work approximately 20% of the time.
Travel to multiple facilities as needed to support HSE oversight.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Education and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or certified training in Health Safety or Environmental field preferred.
Minimum of 35 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required.
Working knowledge of OSHA EPA DOT regulations and industry standards (NFPA ASME ANSI).
Strong communication presentation analytical and reporting skills.
Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 preferred.
First Aid CPR and AED training or instructor certification preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Mechanical aptitude and prior shop or manufacturing experience preferred.
Spanish bilingual skills preferred but not required.
