As a Mechanical Integration and Assembly Technician you will join our Portsmouth team to support our activities within the Space sector.
You will be responsible for the mechanical integration and assembly of aerospace systems supporting AIT (Assembly Integration & Test) activities. The role is on-site full-time across AM/PM shifts and is suitable for junior technicians who are competent and eager to develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical integration and assembly of aerospace systems
- Support AIT (Assembly Integration & Test) activities
- Follow engineering drawings manuals and technical instructions accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure components are installed correctly
- Report and document assembly progress and any technical issues
Qualifications :
Required Skills:
- Competent in mechanical assembly and integration techniques
- Ability to follow technical drawings schematics and assembly instructions
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Willingness to work across AM/PM shifts on-site full time
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
- Proven experience in mechanical integration or assembly ideally within aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with AIT processes and aerospace standards
- Experience in component installation jigs or tooling
- Knowledge of inspection and quality procedures
