As a Project Manager you will join our Birmingham team to support our activities within the Energy sector.
Were looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a complex and technically demanding water infrastructure programme. Youll take a lead role in planning coordinating and managing multidisciplinary teams ensuring projects are delivered safely compliantly and in line with NEC contract requirements.
Working within a regulated environment youll drive programme performance manage risk and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the client supply chain and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the planning and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from design through to construction and commissioning
- Managing projects under NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4) including early warning processes compensation events and programme updates
- Developing maintaining and controlling integrated project programmes in collaboration with planners and delivery teams
- Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams contractors and suppliers to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Proactively managing risks issues dependencies and change control
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory safety and environmental requirements (e.g. CDM water industry standards)
- Reporting progress cost risk and programme performance to senior stakeholders through structured governance and dashboards
Qualifications :
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the UK water industry delivering capital infrastructure projects
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts including commercial and contractual management
- Experience managing complex engineering projects in regulated environments
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with clients engineers planners and contractors
- Strong planning risk management and reporting capability
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Project Management or equivalent military experience
- Project Management certification (APM PMQ Prince2 PMP or Agile PM)
Desirable Skills:
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent experience) highly desirable
- Experience applying Lean / Six Sigma techniques (Black Belt preferred)
- Experience working with NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4)
