Were looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join us on an 18-Month Fixed Term Contract to make a significant impact. You will be an operational partner to the Director and GMG leadership team helping play a key role implementing corporate people initiatives and ground-breaking projects locally!
Ideally successful candidates for this role are able to start immediately or are available to start within 1 month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director GMG and GMG leadership team to develop and implement the GMG people strategy improving organisational and team efficiency and achieving business objectives.
- Support and mentor leaders and managers in crafting and applying effective organisational structures encouraging high engagement and performance.
- Collaborate with local HR colleagues to ensure outstanding people management practices and deliver high-quality HR operational support to GMG.
- Offer HR knowledge in handling commercial contract modifications including TUPE integration cultural alignment and additional aspects.
- Develop and employ people analytics to assess efficiency and support business decisions using data insights to propose solutions that boost engagement and performance.
- Advise and manage Employee Relations (ER) matters with a focus on positive outcomes.
- Champion and drive diversity equality inclusion and belonging (DEI&B) initiatives supporting an inclusive culture across the employee journey.
- Work in partnership with the HR Centres of Excellence and HR Operations to align wider people initiatives and operations within GMG HR practices.
- Engage actively in project work alongside colleagues in the UK & Ireland HRBP Team contributing to transformation projects.
Qualifications :
- Significant generalist HR experience with a comprehensive understanding across all HR fields in the employee lifecycle; ideally CIPD Level 7 qualified or working towards it.
- Demonstrable ability to work both strategically and operationally with evidence of crafting and delivering strategic HR initiatives and quality HR operational services.
- Established track record in directing and applying organisational change processes including TUPE integration and communications.
- Strong business insight with good commercial and financial awareness and proficient Excel skills.
- Experience in the commercial and public sectors ideally including Central or Local Government the health service and academia.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence collaborators at all levels.
- Proactive self-starter with an upbeat can-do attitude and engaging style demonstrating resilience.
- Committed to producing quality work and completing projects on schedule.
- In-depth employment law knowledge with significant experience advising on and handling ER matters.
- Experienced in talent management including developing and delivering L&D programmes to a broad range of collaborators.
- Proven ability to analyse and use HR data to identify trends and priorities.
- Experienced in championing and delivering DEI&B initiatives.
