Server Administration & Support
- Perform daily health checks and monitoring of Windows Servers.
- Manage user accounts groups permissions and OU structures within Active Directory.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to DNS DHCP GPO and file/print services.
- Handle patch deployment antivirus updates and server reboots as per change windows.
Incident & Problem Management
- Analyze recurring issues and provide root cause details
- Support application deployments and system configuration changes under guidance.
Configuration & Maintenance
- Assist in implementing and maintaining Group Policy Security and Audit policies.
- Support AD replication trust management and backup/restore activities.
- Manage Windows updates and participate in OS upgrade cycles.
Automation & Scripting
- Utilize PowerShell for routine tasks such as user management reporting and system checks.
- Contribute to maintaining and improving automation scripts
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate SOPs asset records and change documentation.
- Follow compliance standards for patching system hardening and access control.
Collaboration & Escalation
- Work closely with L1 and L3/L4 teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with detailed incident analysis and logs.
- Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled maintenance windows.
Qualifications :
Qualification
Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent experience
7-9 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration
Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator Associate
- ITIL v4 Foundation (added advantage)
