Team Leader

We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager to lead one of our Project Management teams of seasoned professionals. Your aim is to ensure excellent service delivery to our customers (Bosch internal) combined with functional delivery responsibilities. Assignments can vary from development of IT products and solutions  to migration/M&A projects spanning pretty much over all Bosch divisions and international/global coverage. 

Main objective of the job:

• Responsible for the activity and results of his/ her own team of subordinates;
• Supervises the activity of all the subordinates involved in the project/ service.
• Functional responsibility 50% of the time for project related activities

Leading area:

• Identifies situations that might alter the quality of the services provided and proposes measures to overcome such situations;
• Designs checks and updates work instructions;
• Keeps the Service Manager constantly up to date regarding the activity within the project/service;
• Prepares and regularly submits reports to the Service Manager;
• Is consulted on developing the BCP (Business Continuity Plan) concept on Risk Management as well as on drawing up the project strategy;
• Monitors the feedback provided by other departments regarding various situations and takes all appropriate measures to correct potential errors;
• Monitors and interprets the project-specific KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) while also proposing and applying measures to improve them;
• Is responsible for creating the project/service OrgChart;
• Submits monthly attrition reports;
• Keeps in touch with the clients designated contact persons throughout the project/service;
• Plans the on-site visits of the clients;
• Is responsible for the internal escalations (to the management) as well as the external ones (to the client);
• Prepares and submits regular reports (on a daily weekly and monthly basis) or exceptional reports as requested by the client or the management;
• When necessary travels to the clients location or communicates with the client via conference calls;
• Makes sure that the procedures and work instructions are correctly enforced within the team;
• Coordinates supervises and provides support to the subordinates;
• Periodically organizes performance evaluation sessions for his/her team and fills out the evaluation form;
• Periodically organizes feedback and coaching sessions for each subordinate while proposing incentives and disciplinary measures;
• Monitors and interprets Goals and KPIs for each subordinate while proposing improvement measures;
• Organizes and chairs team meetings in order to inform his/ her team about any internal or external topics that are relevant to their activity;
• Approves and has responsibility regarding status at any business trips of his/her team;
• Provides support to the HR department in redacting documents regarding the service activity (job descriptions. addenda comprising performance objectives etc.);
• Is part of the hearing committee if a team member undergoes a disciplinary hearing;
• Prepares checks and if necessary submits monthly time keeping records to the HR department;
• Collaborates with the HR department in the recruitment and selection process (providing job profile creating the WorkON attending the interview taking the decision);
• Is consulted about the event of contractual changes (salary position extension etc.) as well as regarding over-time and bonus;
• Collaborates with the HR department for the following processes: GPD/TAR/ASR. These processes are organized on yearly basis except GPD which could happen twice per year at subordinate level;
• Collaborates with the HR department regarding the associate satisfaction survey;
• Provides the necessary information to the IT department when a new associate is hired (NT user etc.);
• Provides support to both the IT and the Purchasing department in the inventory process;
• Collaborates with the Quality department in preparing the documents for auditing (internal C/AU SO ISO);
• Discusses any queries regarding procedures work instructions products and services with the Quality department including CIP activities;
• Is familiar with and abides by the Integrated Management System - Handbook and Procedures (Quality Environment Occupational Health and Safety) which concern ones activity;
• Responsible for meeting the project requirements and managing global / international project scope quality sched-ule budget resources and risk.
•  Leading Projects up to/including B level according to Bosch internal guidelines

Functional area:

• Applying Waterfall or Agile Methodologies in Projects
• Keeps overview on project planning maintains WBS OPL and Status Report;
• Responsible for budget controlling;
• Prepares QG documentation/maintains templates and plans;
• Coordinates audit schedules and prepares the pre-audit and audit activities (designs archiving structure collects documents coordinates wording of questionnaire);
• Responsible for the implementation of new projects project quality management and project management training guidance and support.
• Responsible to plan organize motivate and control resources in order to achieve the established goals.
• Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary.
• Monitoring project progress and performance.
• Lead function in directing the project team.
• Report on a regular basis about the project status.
• Ensure that the project deliverables are on time within budget and at the required level of quality.
• Focus on Risk Management to proactively manage project risk mitigating as necessary and prepare response plan and measures.
• Offer support and guidance for Junior Project Managers.
• Participate in takeover of responsibilities
• Joining regular meetings for feedback
• Ensuring a personalized training plan and focus for each junior PM
• Joining status calls to support the project team.
• Overview and support in project management internal and central directives. Responsibility to ensure compliance with functional methods and processes.
• Create update and track the overview and status for all internal and customer projects for BSO-Romania

Qualifications :

Studies:

• University Diploma;
• Certifications in Project Management areas.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Language: English and/ or another language;
• Computer literacy: MS Office;
• Leadership and People Management (minimum 3 years in managing teams);
• Excellent communication skills;
• The ability to work under pressure;
• The ability to train and advise the team;
• Autonomous responsible positive flexible proactive person;
• Experience in Project Management in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies (minimum 5 years).
