We are recruiting for a part-time (minimum 50%) or full-time position starting September 2026:

Professor for Finance and Accounting (m/f/x)

Your Responsibilities

Teaching finance- and accounting-related courses at the Bachelors and Masters levels all delivered fully in person in Munich
Contributing to research in the fields of Finance and/or Accounting
Involvement in governance and committee work as well as institutional development

Our Requirements

Proven excellence in teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels
Commitment to high quality up-to-date research in the field (demonstrated by either at least two peer-reviewed journal publications within the last five years or a doctoral degree obtained within the last three years)
Relevant work experience in the areas of Finance and/or Accounting or related
International profile and teaching experience in English and German
Experience and willingness to acquire national and international third-party funded projects in the fields of teaching and research are an advantage

All applicants must fulfill the formal requirements for the position of a professor in Bavaria including:

Master degree and doctoral degree in a relevant field
Professional experience of at least five years three of which must have been gained outside a university
