EY Consulting Services is a fast-moving high-growth area with huge potential. We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join EY Canadas SAP Practice Consulting team. Our SAP team offers variety challenge responsibility and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential while taking on a lead role in current engagements with local and international clients.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant youll assist in developing applicable methodologies tools approaches points of view thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the ERP advisory market. These are shared with all EY market facing organizations to provide consistency and common platforms with which to go to market. A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated to be 20-30%

You consistently deliver quality client services driving high-quality work products within the expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. You stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the clients business. Should be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be comfortable interfacing with a client on a daily basis. This role requires daily interaction with the client at many levels.

To qualify for the role that you must have

• A degree in computer science accounting finance or a related field. SAP certification/s preferred.
• A bachelors degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience; or a masters degree and approximately 2-3 years of related work experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working with the SAP Finance module including General Ledger Accounting Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Fixed Asset Accounting Controlling Entity Close etc.
• Ability to configure SAP finance and controlling processes and deliver work products/packages conforming to the clients standards & requirements.
• Participation in at least one full life cycle implementation (or equivalent experience) required. Familiarity with integration between SAP modules such as MM PM IBP QM PM SD LE TM FI CO a plus.
• Experience executing a business blueprint and documenting business requirements that can be understood by a technical process team.
• Development of project documentation training materials requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required.
• Field experience supporting client in a live SAP system is highly preferred.
