Process Assistants form an integral part of Amazon Middle Mile operations contributing significantly to the teams dynamic growth. Process Assistants are responsible for daily management of department duties including: allocating labor leading meetings assigning job duties providing work direction and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Maintain a safe workplace by following Safety SOPs ensuring the well-being of all personnel and the integrity of Amazon operations
- Support daily management of department duties including allocating labor leading meetings assigning job duties etc
- Support associates to deliver great service and supervise them in their daily tasks
- Measure and monitor workflows track onsite performance and provide important shift information to front-line management to ensure operational excellence across shifts
- Support the Shift/Area Manager with projects to improve processes cultivate a safe working environment and increase workforce engagement
- Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
- Understand workflow and daily production goals
- Ensure successful area performance through tracking reporting and feedback of associate performance
- Identify and address safety hazards within the work area and participate in safety initiatives
- Coach associates on ways to work safely at all times
- Assist the floor as an associate resource training associates and verifying SOP compliance
- Provide coverage for Shift Managers
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- Can lift up to 49 pounds stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours and be able to frequently push pull squat bend and reach
- Experience in logistics
