Description of Work
The primary purpose of the Engineering Technician III Biennial Residential Surveyor is to conduct on-site biennial physical plant and life safety inspections of existing licensed 24-hour mental health homes 6 beds or less adult care homes 6 beds or less and respite services in adult day centers for compliance with licensure rules and state building codes.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

The Division of Health Service Regulationoversees medical mental health and adult care facilities emergency medical services and local jails. We check to see that people receiving care in these facilities are safe and receive appropriate care. We make certain that medical buildings are built only when there is a need for them.

Associates degree in an applicable area of Engineering Technology Survey Technology or a related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years of progressive technician level experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.EEO Statement
