Reporting to the Marketing & Proposals Team Leader the Graphic Designer Intern supports the visual communication needs of GHD by delivering highquality graphic assets across digital and print platforms. The intern will work closely with Regional Marketing Managers in North America the Marketing Team Leader Marketing Coordinators and the global marketing network to ensure all deliverables align with GHDs brand direction and Visual Style Guide (VSG).
This role requires a creative detailoriented individual who is eager to learn and capable of translating conceptual ideas into compelling visual materials.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Visual Design Tasks
- Assist in developing brand advertising assets.
- Support executives by preparing and enhancing presentation materials (PowerPoint).
- Assist with recruitment advertising visuals.
- Contribute to event materials such as posters signage and booth graphics.
- Support internal and external campaign design.
- Assist in the layout of proposals and publicationlevel documents.
- Prepare graphics for email communications.
WrittenWord Integration in Design Materials
- Help maintain heading hierarchies tables and labels in complex documents.
- Support translation tasks between Spanish and English when necessary.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely within a collaborative design and marketing environment.
- Participate in creative brainstorming and contribute design ideas.
Expected Outcomes
- Timely delivery of assigned materials that create a positive stakeholder experience.
- Consistent application of brand standards across all design deliverables.
- A growing portfolio of work demonstrating adherence to brand and quality standards.
- Reduction in rework through improved accuracy and attention to detail.
- Greater engagement and brand compliance across global marketing teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Training
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Visual Communication Art or a related field.
- Interest in continuing to develop design skills through ongoing training.
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge or interest in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop XD Premiere Audition Acrobat).
- Basic proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
- Understanding of prepress processes (preferred not required).
- Strong digital mindset with interest in UX/UI and multimedia production.
- Must speak and write fluent English
Personal Competencies
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks or projects.
- Ability to work with teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and receptive to feedback.
- Ability to interpret written ideas into visual form.

Type: Internship (FullTime or PartTime depending on academic program)
