Job Summary
Registered Respiratory Director
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Director to lead and oversee all respiratory therapy services within the facility. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care regulatory compliance staff management and the effective operation of the respiratory department.
Your Impact as a Registered Respiratory Director
- Provide leadership direction and oversight of the respiratory therapy department
- Ensure respiratory services are delivered in accordance with physician orders clinical protocols and professional standards
- Oversee scheduling staffing and daily workflow to ensure appropriate coverage
- Supervise mentor and evaluate respiratory therapy staff including training and performance management
- Develop implement and maintain departmental policies and procedures
- Monitor patient outcomes and quality indicators related to respiratory care
- Ensure compliance with all federal state and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with physicians nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care
- Oversee equipment management including maintenance safety checks and troubleshooting
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives audits and inspections
- Maintain accurate departmental documentation and reporting
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential in good standing
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in respiratory care preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of respiratory therapy practices
- Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage staff prioritize workflow and respond to clinical needs
