Cottage Grove High School Assistant Football Coach (202627 School Year)

Cottage Grove High School is seeking applicants forassistant football coach for the 202627 football position supports CGHS students in achieving success both athletically and academically.

Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with all levels of Cottage Grove Football (Varsity and JV).
Willing to serve as an assistant coach at either the varsity or JV level depending on program needs.
Effectively teach and develop the fundamental skills and strategies of football.
Plan organize conduct and evaluate practice sessions.
Develop implement and evaluate game plans and position-specific strategies.
Serve as a leader mentor and role model for student-athletes.
Collaborate with the full coaching staff to build a cohesive and competitive program.
Attend all practices games team meetings and events.

Qualifications:
Qualified applicants should have a general knowledge of football fundamentals strategies and rules. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to contribute wherever needed within the program and be open to serving as an assistant coach at the varsity or JV level based on program needs.

Compensation:
Compensation is provided through a coaching stipend and is determined based on available funding.
