We are recruiting for a part-time (minimum 50%) or full-time position starting September 2026:

Professor for International Business (m/f/x)

Your Responsibilities

• Teaching International Business courses at the Bachelors and Masters levels all delivered fully in person in Munich with a particular emphasis on developing students analytical methodological and academic competencies
• Topics may include but are not limited to critical and reflective thinking effective use of data texts and media digital literacy academic and professional communication and decision-making in international business contexts
• Contributing to research in the field of International Business
  
• Involvement in governance and committee work as well as institutional development

Our Requirements

• Proven excellence in teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels
• Commitment to high quality up-to-date research in the field (demonstrated by either at least two peer-reviewed journal publications within the last five years or a doctoral degree obtained within the last three years)
• Relevant work experience in the area of international business or related
• International profile and teaching experience in English and German
• Experience and willingness to acquire national and international third-party funded projects in the fields of teaching and research are an advantage

All applicants must fulfill the formal requirements for the position of a professor in Bavaria including:

• Master degree and doctoral degree in a relevant field
• Professional experience of at least five years three of which must have been gained outside a university
