The Senior Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand customer understanding and media strategy of Amazon Payments Mexico. This leader will oversee Consumer Insights Brand Equity and Media Planning ensuring that all campaigns and launches reflect a deep understanding of Mexican customers and strengthen Amazons credibility as a trusted financial brand.
You will act as the main point of contact for Central Consumer Insights (Florida) lead the relationship with our creative and media agencies and manage the full marketing fixed budget (working and non-working). You will ensure that every peso invested delivers measurable business impact and reinforces our mission to make digital payments more accessible inclusive and inspiring.
This position is ideal for a strategic marketing leader with strong storytelling instincts business acumen and experience managing complex campaigns. The right candidate will be both a strategic thinker and a cross-functional influencersomeone who can translate insights into creative action and inspire internal and external teams.
Key job responsibilities
Lead the Consumer Insights and Research agenda serving as the main POC with Amazons Central Consumer Insights team (Florida) to translate data into actionable marketing and product strategies.
Own brand equity and positioning for Amazon Payments Mexico including agency management creative strategy and production of campaigns (TV digital and social).
Develop and execute media strategies across awareness consideration and trial phases; ensure optimization ROI tracking and campaign effectiveness.
Manage the marketing budget (working and non-working) ensuring efficient allocation and accurate financial planning across all channels.
Partner with Product Finance and Central Marketing teams to align messaging and ensure consistent representation of the Payments brand across all touchpoints.
Mentor and guide Product Marketing Managers elevating team capability and building future marketing leaders.
Represent Payments Marketing in leadership forums providing business updates creative reviews and campaign performance narratives.
Contribute to long-term brand architecture and strategic positioning of Amazon Payments in Mexico and Latin America.

- 8 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Bachelors degree in marketing advertising business or equivalent
- 6 YOE using data and metrics to drive improvements
- 6 YOE in advertising
- 6 YOE with customer segmentation profiling and targeting
- 6 YOE in marketing brand advertising media sales or online advertising and close work with senior advertisers and agency stakeholders
- 6 YOE managing spend amount of at least $75 million
- 6 YOE working for or with Creative Agencies
- 6 YOE in market research analytically-driven marketing consulting or analytical marketing
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
- Experience owning a global brand and driving aggressive brand awareness and growth goals
- Experience dealing well with ambiguity prioritizing needs and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
- Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to drive marketing initiatives world-wide
