Marketing Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Marketing Project Manager to support the planning coordination and execution of marketing initiatives across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for managing project timelines resources budgets and communication to ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented proactive and thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to maintain project clarity drive execution and ensure strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Initiation & Planning
- Partner with key stakeholders to define project scope deliverables and expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans timelines and resource allocations.
- Identify potential project risks and proactively plan mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are appropriately funded and resourced including external support when needed.
Timeline Budget & Risk Management
- Manage overall project timelines and integrate all key project activities.
- Define and maintain the projects critical path and interim deliverables.
- Track project budgets and flag cost or time overruns.
- Communicate risks issues and critical milestones to stakeholders and leadership.
Communication & Collaboration
- Schedule and facilitate cross-functional project meetings.
- Document meeting notes decisions and action items.
- Leverage collaboration tools to ensure efficient information sharing.
- Maintain organized accurate project files and documentation within shared drives.
Execution & Team Coordination
- Ensure team members follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Anticipate challenges and work with leadership to realign project deliverables as needed.
- Provide feedback and input related to team performance and project execution.
Process Improvement & Capability Building
- Collaborate with team members to standardize and improve project management processes.
- Contribute to the development of project management tools templates and training.
- Coach team members on best practices in project management methodologies.
- Research and apply external best practices to continuously enhance workflows.
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree required.
- 5 years of experience using project management tools and processes within a marketing environment.
- 3 years of experience in marketing advertising or communications.
- Strong experience managing timelines budgets and cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with collaboration and project management tools (e.g. Asana Notion).
- Detail-oriented proactive and solution-focused.
- Experience with design or copywriting is a plus.
