Compensation: $Negotiable up to $60000 base
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $84000 equity

HireNow Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a high-growth software development startup seeking a driven disciplined and career-minded Sales Development Representative. This role is designed for individuals who are serious about building a long-term career in salesnot a steppingstone not a placeholder.
This is a front-line revenue role with real expectations real coaching and a clear path into an Account Executive position for those who consistently perform. You will be trusted with the first and most critical step of the sales process: creating qualified opportunities that convert into revenue.

What Youll Be Responsible For
This role requires consistent execution resilience and strong communication skills.

Proactively generate new business opportunities through high-volume outbound prospecting including cold calls tailored email outreach and social engagement

Qualify inbound leads by assessing business needs urgency decision-making authority and alignment with the ideal customer profile

Build manage and maintain a healthy and accurate sales pipeline ensuring timely follow-ups and clean CRM data

Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to refine messaging test outreach strategies and improve conversion rates

Develop a deep understanding of the companys software platform customer pain points and competitive positioning

Track and report daily activity lead progression and performance metrics with discipline and accuracy

Continuously sharpen objection-handling discovery and prospecting skills through feedback and coaching
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
These qualifications are non-negotiable. Candidates who do not meet them will not be considered.

12 years of professional experience in sales or business development preferably in a technology or software environment

Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed goals (quotas KPIs or performance benchmarks)

Comfort and confidence with cold calling and outbound sales activity

Working knowledge of sales fundamentals including pipeline stages lead qualification and ideal customer profiles

Clear and genuine desire to build a career in sales with the goal of advancing into an Account Executive role

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport

High level of personal accountability coachability and competitive drive
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Valued)

Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce HubSpot or similar tools
