The Team Youll Work With:
The Mayors Office of City Legislative Affairs (CLA) serves as the Mamdani Administrations principal liaison between the Administration and the City Council. City Legislative Affairs works toward the goal of fostering productive relationships among these parties and in assisting the Administration in: (1) shaping public policy; (2) advancing the Administrations local legislative agenda; (3) negotiating City Council legislation; and (4) preparing agencies for City Council public hearings.
The Problems Youll Solve:
The Legislative Representative will keep the Mayor and City agencies informed about pending or important issues affecting the City.
About You:
Demonstrate understanding of and experience with any combination of the following:
-The City legislative process public policy analysis New York City and State agency operations and lobbying.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree.
-2 years of experience in New York City legislative processes and ecosystem.

Qualifications :
1. Do you have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
2. Do you have an associate degree from an accredited college or university along with two (2) years of experience with administrative analytic coordinative supervisory or liaison responsibilities
3. Do you have a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a states Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization along with four (4) years of experience as described in question 2 above
4. Do you have a satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to that described in questions 1 2 and/or 3 above
