Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Cardiology Physician to join a collaborative and patient-focused healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cardiovascular evaluations including medical history reviews physical examinations and diagnostic assessments such as echocardiograms and stress tests.
• Interpret complex medical imaging results including CT scans and other diagnostic radiology procedures related to cardiac health.
• Perform invasive procedures such as cardiac catheterization and vascular interventional radiography to diagnose and treat heart conditions effectively.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans encompassing medication management lifestyle modifications and interventional therapies like catheterization procedures.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including nurses radiologists and specialists in electrophysiology endocrinology and pulmonology to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or similar platforms to document patient interactions accurately and efficiently.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives to stay at the forefront of cardiology advancements and contribute to evidence-based practice improvements.
• Educate patients on heart health maintenance risk factor management and post-procedure care to promote long-term wellness.
• Participate in hospital committees focused on quality improvement patient safety and compliance with HIPAA standards.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of cardiology principles physiology and current clinical practices in cardiac care.
• Proficiency with EMR systems like Epic or other healthcare software for documentation and patient management.
• Experience performing cardiac catheterization procedures and interpreting diagnostic radiology images related to vascular health.
• Familiarity with medical imaging modalities including CT scans relevant to cardiac diagnostics.
• Strong understanding of perioperative care protocols for cardiac surgeries and interventions.
• Ability to manage airway emergencies effectively within acute care settings.
• Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes related to cardiology procedures.
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach toward diverse populations.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification; advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) preferred.
• Experience working within hospital environments or Level I trauma centers is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with interventional radiography techniques used in vascular treatments.
• Ability to collaborate across specialties such as endocrinology nephrology pulmonology neurology and psychiatry when managing complex cases involving comorbidities like PTSD or diabetes.

Pay: $320000.00 - $360000.00 per year
