- Drivers stay on the road for 14 days at a time
- Home time includes two full days off before the next run
- Routes operate on a regional network with planned dispatch
- Daytime and overnight driving depending on lane assignment
Weekly miles and freight
- Average mileage runs close to 2000 miles per week
- Freight mix includes drop and hook along with live load and unload
- Regional freight volume remains steady week to week
- Assigned automatic trucks are provided
Pay details
- Average weekly earnings around $1500
- Stop pay of $15 for each additional stop
- Detention and breakdown pay provided when applicable
- Weekly pay with clear settlements

Who qualifies

- Ability to pass DOT physical and required drug screening
