Rate of Pay: 220.18 - 281.48 per day
Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of transport infrastructure projects that are critical to the economic wellbeing of the region. The role sits within the Project Delivery team and provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical financial and project management expertise while contributing to the successful planning and delivery of highways and infrastructure schemes.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning management and delivery of transport and highway infrastructure projects.
- Assist in preparing technical reports project documentation programmes and progress updates.
- Support project delivery to ensure schemes are completed to quality time and budget targets.
- Assist with programme management procurement and contract administration including NEC contracts.
- Monitor project costs risks and forecasts reporting variances as required.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation CDM Regulations and council policies.
Qualification:
- HND or degree in Project Management or a relevant discipline or
working towards professional qualification or relevant experience
Essentials:
- Experience supporting the development and delivery of infrastructure or construction projects.
- Understanding of project and programme management principles.
- Experience of budget monitoring and financial control.

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
