Why this role exists
The founder has built the outbound infrastructure capacity but does not have the time focus or specialist knowledge to operate cold outbound at scale.
Outbound execution is currently the main growth bottleneck: lead sourcing enrichment deliverability inbox rotation and campaign execution are not being run consistently or at the required level.
This role exists to fully own top-of-funnel cold outbound execution so the founder can focus on closing deals and running the business.
The role
This is a Top-of-Funnel Operator role focused entirely on cold outbound infrastructure and execution.
You will report directly to the founder and operate autonomously.
You will be given ICP context guardrails and goals not step-by-step instructions.
The role starts execution-heavy and can grow into Head of Acquisition or a more senior ownership role over time.
Key objectives (first 612 months)
Operate a stable scalable cold outbound system capable of sending up to 10000 emails per day
Build and maintain high-quality ICP-aligned lead lists with low bounce rates
Maintain inbox health deliverability and sender reputation over time
Generate a consistent flow of qualified senior-level conversations
Ensure clean fast handoff of qualified replies to the founder
Scale outbound volume without burning domains inboxes or lists
Responsibilities:
Outbound infrastructure
Manage multi-domain multi-inbox cold email systems
Handle inbox rotation warm-up ramp schedules
Monitor deliverability bounce rates and reputation
Maintain and scale infrastructure over time
Lead list and data operations
Build and manage ICP-aligned lead lists
Source leads using tools such as Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Enrich clean deduplicate and verify leads
Apply signal-based targeting such as PE-backed companies or timing signals
Campaign execution
Launch and manage campaigns in tools like Instantly or Smartlead
Execute short direct outbound copy frameworks provided by the founder
Identify whether performance issues are list deliverability or copy related
Iterate campaigns without diluting message integrity
Inbox and reply handling
Monitor replies across multiple inboxes
Categorize responses and manage follow-ups
Forward qualified replies to the founder immediately
Keep the founder out of inbox management
Requirements
Must have
Hands-on experience operating cold outbound systems at scale
Experience managing 50 inboxes and multiple domains
Strong knowledge of deliverability bounces and inbox reputation
Experience with Instantly Smartlead or similar platforms
Experience with Apollo and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Experience targeting senior B2B decision-makers
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Fluent English
Nice to have
Light copywriting or copy iteration experience
Experience scaling outbound for high-ticket offers
Familiarity with Slack Notion or Airtable for reporting
Traits and ways of working
