Role Purpose & Success Outcomes

Purpose:
Own the execution recording and monitoring of investment-related transactions to ensure accuracy compliance and timely capital and interest recovery.

Success outcomes

• Investment transactions are executed fully in line with approved submissions contracts and internal policies.
• All investment transactions are recorded accurately and on time in tracking files and SAP.
• Capital and interest are monitored and recovered according to agreed terms.
• Treasury and budget controls remain compliant with approved limits and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Transaction Management

• Execute investment transactions in compliance with approved processes policies and directives.
• Review and validate the legality completeness and accuracy of payment dossiers and supporting documents.
• Verify original documents and confirm payment amounts align with approved proposals.

• Coordinate with the Treasury team to prepare funding for payments.

• Submit payment dossiers for approval and execute transactions with banks.
• Transfer bank transaction documents to the accounting team responsible for investments.
• Perform transactions related to financial capacity certification and credit commitments for investment purposes.

Transaction Recording & Accounting

• Ensure all daily and monthly investment transactions are recorded fully accurately and on time.

• Maintain and update investment transaction tracking files and reports.

• Post transactions into SAP based on bank statements and perform monthly reconciliations.

Capital Interest & Budget Control

• Monitor capital and interest recovery to ensure on-time collection in line with contracts or approved proposals.
• Track outstanding investment balances and report capital and interest positions weekly monthly and annually.
• Control departmental cost norms and budget usage within Treasury & Tax functions.
• Prepare budget utilization reports comparing actual costs against approved budgets and coordinating with capital control teams.

Candidate Profile

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Economics Finance Banking or a related field (required).

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar investment treasury or finance operations role (required).
• Experience working with banking transactions investment documentation and internal approvals (required).

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word) and accounting software (required).
• Experience using SAP for transaction posting and reconciliation (required).

Knowledge Domain

• Investment operations and payment processes.

• Banking transactions and financial documentation.

• Capital interest tracking and budget control principles.

Language

• English proficiency: Intermediate (required).
