TheLPGTerritory Account Representativemanages a geographic regionand is responsible for maintaining and growingbusiness through insidesalesoutboundtelephone prospecting.This will be accomplished by establishing strong business relationships with our current and future client base along with allThermoFisherScientificschannel includes the entire LPG product portfolio (consumables chemicalsand equipment).
Responsibilities:
Developnew sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outboundnetworking.
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within yourassigned territory.
Research accountsuses historical data and trends to find new business opportunities.
Identifykey players and generate interest.
Develops territory business plan and frequently updateaccording to business and market changes.
Understand customer needs and requirements.
Close sales and achieve quotas.
Communicates the value of doing business withThermoFisher Scientific.
Collaboratewithchannel partnersand createsolutions for customer.
Identifycompetitive positions and tactics within accounts; developstrategiesto address.
Presentbenefits and solutions to customers in a way that addresses their needs; useselling techniques to advance the sales cycle; leverages points of agreementto gainbuy-in and commitment for moving forward.
Prioritizedailyactiveseffectivelywith good time management skills.
Acceptand adaptto change quickly while remainingeffective andefficient.
Fully understandthe productworkflow pertaining to the needsof thecurrent customer base.
Effectively leveragethe tools and resources available to assist in the sales process such asSFDC opportunity entrydashboardsforecastand analytical reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with emphasis in the sciences.
1-3 years experience in industry academia or related field with progressively increasing responsibilities.
Demonstrated excellence in oral written and presentation communications skills.Preference for speaking French.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently with initiative and good business judgment.
Strong organizational and time management skills ability to effectively learn and utilize on-line CRM applicationand social media resources to grow territory.
Demonstrated success indeveloping/prospecting new business.
Proficiency in PC software (Word Excel PowerPoint) andi-Pad familiarity.
