JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title:Shipping Attendant

Department:Production

Location:Greeley CO Value Added Plant

JBS is seeking an hourlyShipping Team Member! Position starts at $22.50 per hour with the ability to go up to $25.00/hour plus $0.10/hour Shift Differential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strictly follow and promote the companies First In First Out practices
Responsible for accuracy of inventory and order fill rates
Organization of box cooler freezer and shipping dock
Responsible for total quality of product shipped out including but not limited to leaker control box integrity pallet integrity trailer configuration trailer temperature etc.
Understand and maintain product flow and procedures
Communicate with leads and supervision
Maintain labor standards and pace
Understand Food Safety GMP SSOP requirements
Maintain package integrity
Monitor and confirm equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production
Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack
Completing receiving documentation (temp checking)
Other duties assigned

Qualifications:

Authorized to work in the US
18 years of age or more
Ability to work fulltime M-F; Weekends and overtime as needed
Read/write in English
Requires ability to lift push pull up to 50lbs
Requires ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Requires ability to work in a manufacturing setting
Ability to conduct repetitive motion

Work Environment:

The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures. It may also require the use of sharp tools such as knives.
