Job Summary
We are seeking a Legal Assistant for our growing very busy Port Orange office. Candidate will assist and provide a range of legal and administrative support to the attorney and case manager on a day-to-day basis . Must be very organized and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Job duties (including but not limited to)
- Scan in all incoming mail and documents
- Organize and analyze information
- Prepare correspondence via email and US mail
- Assist attorney and case manager in day-to-day tasks
- Contact with clients adjusters medical providers
- Set and monitor tasks
- Document all actions in case management software
- Answer all telephone calls in a polite manner and return all calls in a timely and polite manner
Qualifications
- Computer and Microsoft 365 literacy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Client Confidentiality
- Dependability
- Able to use personal cell phone for two-factor authentication or other like services as needed
