Job Summary

Responsibilities

Set up and operate 4-axis and/or 5-axis CNC milling machines
Interpret mechanical drawings blueprints and technical specifications
Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to verify dimensional accuracy
Perform in-process inspections and routine quality checks to ensure compliance with requirements
Maintain a safe organized and efficient work area
Work independently while contributing effectively to production schedules and objectives

Qualifications

Proven experience operating 4-axis and/or 5-axis CNC milling machines
Proficiency in tool identification setup and presetting
Working knowledge of CNC G-code with the ability to review and modify programs as needed
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Solid understanding of GD&T principles
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
Experience in high-precision machining environments
Ability to transition quickly into production with minimal supervision or training

$32 - $40 an hour
