Job Summary
We are looking for a skilledVB SQL Developerwith 46 years of experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience inVisual Basic (VB/)andSQL and will work closely with business and technical teams to develop enhance and support enterprise applications. This role requires overlap with US business hours and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop enhance and maintain applications usingVisual Basic (VB/)
- Write optimize and maintainSQL queries stored procedures views and functions
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Debug troubleshoot and resolve application and database-related issues
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and database objects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA business analysts and US-based stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Provide production support bug fixes and minor enhancements as needed
- Create and maintain technical documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 46 years of strong hands-on experience inVisual Basic (VB or )
- Strong expertise inSQL(complex queries joins subqueries stored procedures)
- Experience working withrelational databases(e.g. SQL Server Oracle MySQL)
- Solid understanding of application development life cycle (SDLC)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a client-facing or US-shift environment
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
