$10000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible full-time and part-time new employees joining UW Medicine
Harborview Medical Centers Emergency Department is looking for highly qualified Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join our level 1 trauma center ED.
Under general administrative supervision of the Assistant Administrator of ARNPs & PA-Cs
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
but not limited to:
- Providing clinical expertise to patients and their families.
- A resource person for health care providers.
- Participation in research and teaching programs.
- General independence and decision-making responsibility.
(Under the general guidance of the attending physicians chief resident and department Nurse Manager). - Guidelines include general policy procedures and practice guidelines established by the department and Harborview Medical Center as well as appropriate professional and technical manuals.
- Work is performed in the Emergency Department 24 Hour/7 days a week.
SCHEDULE: - 90% Night shift
REQUIRMENTS: - ARNPS: Have/Obtain a Washington state Register Nurse (or MSL) and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licenses to practice in the state of Washington.
- PAS: Have/Obtain a license to practice as a Physician assistant in the state of Washington and
- ARNPs Board Certification by ANCC or AAPP
- PAs Board Certification from NCCAP
- ARNPs Graduated from accredited school of nursing program
- PAs: Graduated form accredited program for Physician Assistant studies.
- ARNP and PAs Prescriptive authority
- ARNPs and PAs BLS and ACLS and PALS certification
