The Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated and friendly School Caretaker for a prestigious Independent Primary (Prep) school in the heart of Cambridge. As this is a primary setting the successful candidate will be a visible part of the school community requiring a professional manner and a commitment to maintaining the high standards expected by parents and governors.
Core Responsibilities
Facilities Management: Ensuring all classrooms and play areas are safe and well-maintained. Setting up halls for assemblies lunch and school performances.
Grounds Upkeep: Assisting in the maintenance of the schools outdoor spaces to ensure they remain tidy and safe throughout the seasons.
Safety Protocols: Strictly adhering to safeguarding and child protection policies while working on the school site.
Requirements & Compensation
Essential: A can-do attitude and the ability to work independently. Basic plumbing or carpentry skills are highly desirable.
Salary: Exceptional remuneration on the schools independent pay scale.
