Your Mission
The HR Generalist is responsible for daytoday HR operations in Spain and Iberia with a focus on compliance talent acquisition and HR administration supporting business growth while ensuring alignment with local labour legislation and BYD global policies.
What Youll Be Doing
HR & Compliance Responsibilities
Ensure HR processes comply with Spanish labour law internal policies and GDPR maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Monitor changes in labour legislation and support the adaptation of contracts policies and HR templates.
Support internal and external audits maintain HR documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of HR procedures.
Ensure all HR actions (hiring terminations disciplinary processes) follow legal requirements and BYD standards.
Talent Acquisition Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to define headcount needs role profiles and selection criteria for Iberia positions.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings sourcing interviews feedback and offer coordination.
Manage recruitment channels and maintain a strong talent pipeline ensuring a positive candidate experience.
HR Administration & Employee Support
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes including contracts right-to-work checks systems access and exit formalities.
Prepare HR data for payroll monitor attendance and leave and coordinate with external providers and internal stakeholders.
Act as first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies contracts benefits and basic employee relations matters.
Maintain HR systems personnel files and HR reporting (headcount turnover absenteeism) for local and regional HQ.
What You Bring
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Law Business Administration or related field.
3 years of experience in an HR Generalist / HR Admin / HRBP role ideally in an international or fastgrowing company in Spain.
Solid knowledge of Spanish labour law HR compliance and HR administrative procedures.
Experience in recruitment and onboarding; familiarity with HRIS and MS Office tools.
Fluency in Spanish and good command of English; Chinese is a plus for coordination with HQ.
