Job Summary Senior Database Developer (Consultant)
- Serve as a senior-level consultant specializing in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL database development.
- Design develop and optimize complex database systems for client projects.
- Provide expert consulting services including database architecture advice and performance tuning recommendations.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from clients to develop tailored database solutions.
- Integrate and support CRIMS (Charles River Investment Management System) for investment management workflows.
- Develop and maintain custom reports using Tableau Power BI or similar tools to meet client reporting needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement reporting solutions and database integrations.
- Provide technical support troubleshoot database issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Document database designs processes and procedures for client reference and knowledge transfer.
- Work independently manage multiple client projects and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Leverage familiarity /C# for application development and integration (preferred).
- Apply experience in the financial services or investment management industry (preferred).
- Utilize knowledge of ETL processes cloud-based database solutions (e.g. Azure) and Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred).
