Job Summary :
- Location & Work Type: Local hybrid position no sponsorship or corp-to-corp arrangements
- Role: Specialist Data Scientist (Big Data & Computer Vision Hybrid Local Applicants Only)
- Modeling Focus: Expertise in computer vision especially YOLO-based object detection models
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune/retrain models; apply quantization and distillation for edge deployment
- Containerization: Proficient with Docker for FastAPI web services and message broker integration
- Cloud & Orchestration: Familiar with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform for production workflows
- Programming: Strong skills in Python and Typescript; scalable architecture experience preferred
- Big Data Technologies: Advanced knowledge of Hadoop Spark Hive NoSQL databases (Cassandra MongoDB)
- Machine Learning: Build and deploy ML models for real-time production environments
- Analytics: Conduct advanced statistical analysis predictive modeling and derive actionable insights
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data strategies
- Process Improvement: Continuously optimize data science workflows for scalability and efficiency
- Experience: 8 years in data science/big data; strong in analytics ML and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
