Job Summary

Naztec has a client in Boca Raton FL that is seeking a remote GIS Engineer.

CJIS certification Must have

Key Responsibilities:

GIS Engineer will architect and develop scalable GIS web applications using ArcGIS JavaScript API (4.x)
Build high-performance mapping apps with custom widgets spatial analysis tools 3D scenes and dynamic visualization
Develop APIs and publish services (Feature Map Geoprocessing) on ArcGIS Server
Integrate with ArcGIS Enterprise Portal and ArcGIS Online using secure authentication methods
As a GIS Engineer you will design and maintain enterprise geodatabases; optimize datasets for performance
Diagnose and resolve performance issues; apply best practices for scalability
Provide technical leadership mentorship and documentation for GIS standards and governance

Required Skills : * Bachelor s degree in Geography Geospatial Science Computer Science or related field * 7 years in GIS application development * Experience with geodatabases spatial indexing and ETL tools (ArcPy GDAL) * Expert in ArcGIS JavaScript API (4.x) ArcGIS REST APIs and ArcGIS Enterprise/Online * Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Python (ArcPy ArcGIS Python API) skills Preferred: * Esri certifications; experience with Experience Builder Web AppBuilder or Dashboards * Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) CI/CD and performance tuning experience
