Role Overview
Clients Data and Analytics team is seeking a Data Governance Technologist (Level 2) to support and mature an expanding Data Governance (DG) function within the team. This role is strategy-aligned and administration-focused not report-building oriented.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with data governance tools especially Monte Carlo and Adlumin and will act as a facilitator between data governance strategy engineering teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Align with and support the enterprise Data Governance strategy
- Administer and maintain data governance tools including:
- Monte Carlo (service accounts access setup domains data quality monitoring)
- Adlumin for data quality cataloging and governance workflows
- Ensure accurate data cataloging tagging and classification
- Support and document data lineage (no deep dataset ownership required)
- Validate and classify data correctly in accordance with governance standards
- Provide metrics matrices and documentation related to Data Governance tools and usage
- Facilitate data governance processes across teams
- Proactively reach out to developers and stakeholders as needed
- Deliver or support training sessions related to DG tools and processes
- Act as an administrator and enabler for all data governance-related activities
- Experience with any other data governance tools apart from Monte Carlo and Adlumin will also be a plus
Required Experience & Skills
- 5 7 years of experience in Data Governance (Level 2)
- Strong experience with Monte Carlo:
- Administration
- Access setup
- Domain management
- Data quality monitoring across multiple data sources
- Experience with Adlumin
- Solid understanding of:
- Data cataloging
- Data lineage
- Data classification and validation
- Experience working in a technical data governance-driven environment
- Ability to align technical execution with governance strategy
- Comfortable collaborating with engineers and presenting or delivering trainings to groups
- Experience with cloud platforms:
- Familiarity with reporting and BI tools (administrative exposure preferred)
Nice-to-Have Skills (any of the below)
- Business Objects (BO)
- Tableau
- Power BI

Education
- Bachelors degree required in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Or related technical field
