Job Summary

Payroll Analyst Hybrid Downtown Chicago

Contract-to-Hire only GC or US citizens

Our direct client is seeking a Payroll Analyst with strong Workday experience to support North American payroll for a large multi-state organization. This is not an accounting role and offers a true 40-hour work week.

Schedule:

Hybrid: On-site Tues & Thurs 1 flexible day
Chicago-based payroll team

Requirements:

5 years of payroll experience
2 years of hands-on Workday payroll (end-to-end processing)
Experience supporting 8000 employees across 40 states
Independently handled quarterly reconciliations
Strong state and local tax setup experience
North America payroll experience required; Canada payroll a plus
Large enterprise background required (small-company experience will not align)

Notes:

Tax-driven payroll role; GL work 5%
