Job Summary
Location: Ahmedabad
Position Overview:
Mechanical and Structural design for Heavy machineries/Construction equipment in concept design to 3D Modeling & manufacturing drawings creations.
Responsibilities:
Competent user of 3D Solid Modelling CAD ideally Solidworks or Creo/Pro-Engineer and familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
Exposure in R&D and New product development is preferred.
Good technical expertise in mechanical systems & mechanical engineering fundamentals.
Required Education & Experience:
Graduate in Engineering preferably Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputed college. Post Graduate qualification would be an added advantage.
2 - 5 years of relevant experience
Creativity and innovative thinking.
Experience with ERP systems.
Good English communication skill both written and spoken
Good Presentation and interpersonal skills.
Skills & Competencies:
Good Team work capabilities and Co-ordination with other teams.
Good Design background and exposure to manufacturing/product development.
Should be familiar and capable of preparing 2D & 3D CAD drawings at least in any one of the following software such as Solidworks (preferable).
Basic knowledge of the FEA software such as Ansys Hypermesh Optistruct would be an added advantage.
Preference would be given to those having worked in Global engineering projects.
Having passport would be preferable and should be willing to travel overseas as and when required.
