As an Automation Engineer you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.

Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium.
Create execute and optimize automated test scripts for web applications APIs and data workflows.
Validate data pipelines and transformations including testing within Azure Databricks environments.
Build and maintain comprehensive test reports dashboards and metrics to track quality and coverage.
Perform database testing including writing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation.
Collaborate closely with developers product owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Participate in code reviews automation framework enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to QA best practices across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Identify document and track defects ensuring timely resolution and clear communication across teams.
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to overall quality engineering standards.

Educational Qualifications

Engineering Degree BE / ME / BTech / MTech / BSc / MSc
Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable

Experience & Technical Skills

8 years of overall QA experience with 5 years in automation
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium automation frameworks
Solid understanding of test reporting tools (e.g. Allure Extent Reports custom dashboards)
Strong SQL skills and experience with database testing
Experience testing data engineering workflows including Azure Databricks notebooks pipelines and jobs
Good understanding of SDLC Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with version control tools such as Git
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Soft Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
