Role Overview As an IIoT SME you will be a key technical leader driving the adoption and integration of advanced IIoT solutions within manufacturing will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect implement and optimize digital manufacturing systems ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Advise or build solutions by acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams translating business requirements into IIoT solutions.
Architect and integrate industrial IoT platforms robotics and software into existing factory systems focusing on scalability and interoperability.
Lead the assessment design and deployment of IIoT architectures ensuring robust connectivity data flow and security across manufacturing operations. Align IIoT solutions with core manufacturing processes to drive eOiciency productivity and innovation.
Advise on emerging IIoT technologies trends and disruptions recommending strategic advancements for continuous improvement.
Manage full solution lifecycle: requirements gathering design implementation testing deployment and support in real-world manufacturing settings.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify challenges opportunities and future needs delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
Support integration with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and other manufacturing IT systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Engineering Information Technology Business or related field.
Minimum 7 years experience in manufacturing and industrial automation with a focus on IIoT and digital transformation.
Proven expertise in designing and integrating IIoT architectures including connectivity edge computing and cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 value streams (supply chain product development customer experience etc.).
Experience with MES WMS and manufacturing IT systems integration.
Ability to translate strategic business goals into actionable IIoT solutions and operating models.
Excellent communication stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer engagements and onsite support.
